Leg Fractures

Leg Fractures

Fracture in the legs refers to a break or crack in one of the leg bones. There may be simple fractures as a result of forcing, as well as severe cases where the broken bone comes out by tearing the skin. It is a type of injury that people of all ages can face.

Broken leg treatment depends on the location and severity of the injury. In severe fractures, it may be necessary to place devices such as special screws and prostheses in order to heal the leg and harmonize the bones. Other minor injuries can be treated with a cast or splint. In any case, it is important to diagnose and treat leg fractures early before they cause serious complications.
